Micro Commun[e]ity
Micro Commun[e]ity proposes a live - work community that combines micro apartments with co-working spaces and large shared spaces. Why should micro-apartment buildings isolate their often single young occupants? Formal moves stretch the front (window) side of the unit vertically, bringing more light and views into the units. As the units stack, vertically, they pocket large shared spaces on alternating floors. Unit clusters then share communal space, where small collections of the residents can convene, and engage in both leisure and work activity.
